Vast

 Humans warm my heart

They could hold the whole universe 

In their eyes

But feel the most special

When someone loves them.

They could wither away slowly 

With the passing of time

But find the strength to hold 

Onto themselves for one more time.

They could be healing slowly

From feelings abused

But still have enough love

To send over to people in need.


In a world where you could 

Wish for anything,

You chose the little things

That brightened your day.

When you laugh with a friend,

And empty your worries into 

Their understanding hands,

You whisper new forms of love

Like a secret into the world.

It does intrigue my heart 

That in a vast world of creations

The idea of someone miles away

Is all you desire on a lonely night.

And the irony of it is almost funny because I can't stop thinking about all the places I would go and all the words I would splash on a piece of paper to let someone know that I love them with all of my being. You have to take credit for the ignited hope in my heart that hasn't been washed down by my interaction with others and I would always be grateful to you for that. I do confuse myself sometimes. I remember the most strangest things about places. How the sun shines a little differently on the east side of the park, or how the leaves refuse to let out a scrunching sound on that particular lane because of all the shade, or how a wind blows as I walk down that small road from where I can see my home at exactly 6:26pm. Monologue of an anxious heart

  Love is a strange feeling. I have tried to write about it so many times but it never feels right. So here goes another try. 1. This isn't something you wished for but now that it's here,it feels like everything. And sometimes it doesn't. And that frightens you. Like a huge 'I told you so' from life.  2. In a world where everything starts feeling like a trial and error experiment, you constantly doubt yourself by thinking if this is it. Should you look for more?  3.
